New Delhi/Nagpur: Kanhaiya Kumar, the JNU student accused of sedition, has been fined Rs. 10,000 and Umar Khalid has been removed for one semester.
The university has also fined Umar Khalid Rs. 20,000.
The two students were arrested and let off on bail earlier this year over an event on February 9 to mark the anniversary of the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
