KAND holds WKF Kumite Seminar at Anjuman College

Nagpur: Karate-Do Association of Nagpur District (KAND) organized “WKF Kumite Seminar” to improve Kumite (Fighting Skill) techniques of Central India Karate Coaches.“WKF Kumite Seminar” was conducted by Shihan Bharat Sharma, General Secretary, Karate Association of India and Technical Commission Member of World Karate Federation , who came from New Delhi at Auditorium Hall, Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology, Sadar, Nagpur on 25 February. All the Indian Karate Coaches came to learn advance Kumite fighting Techniques from India’s Karate Legend Bharat Sharma.

Near About 200 Karate Coaches participated in “WKF Kumite Seminar”. “WKF Kumite Seminar” organised by Zakir S Khan, Karate Association of India (KAI) -Tournament Commission Member, President, Karate-Do Association of Nagpur District and Treasurer,Karate Maharashtra Sports Association (KMSA) in association and supported by Sanjay Ingole, Rajan Pillay, Surendra Ugale, Deepchand Shende, Meenanath Bokare, Ulhas Wagh and Devendra Gowardhan.


To make this WKF Kumite Seminar successful 300 Mats were provided by Dr Avinash Pund, DSO-Nagpur and Chintalwar, General Secretary-Nagpur District Kabaddi Association. Dr Sajid Anwar, Principal, Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology made available Auditorium Hall for historical WKF Kumite Seminar. Karate-Do Association of Nagpur District has thanked for their great support to complete this National level Event.

Pankaj Khandagale, Jagdish Mankar, Sunil Shende, Himanshu Dane, Vinay Bode, Sensei Gautam Godbole, Shahwar Khan, Emmanuel Philip, JagdishPatil Ritesh Chandekar, Sadiq Ahmed worked hard for the success of the seminar.
