Juhi Chawla, Anup Jalota to grace Koradi Mahotsav on Oct 8

Nagpur: The ongoing Koradi Cultural and Tourism Mahotsav being organized at Shree Mahalakshmi Jagdamba Devi Temple during Navratri will witness Bollywood star Juhi Chawla performing ‘Maha Arti’ and renowned singer Anup Jalota rendering Bhajans on Saturday (October 8).

The ‘Maha Arti’ being performed on a grand stage is one of the attractions of Koradi Mahotsav. Juhi Chawla will perform it 6 pm and the Bhajan Sandhya will be presented by Anup Jalota at 7 pm. In the meantime, at 6.30 pm, ‘Loknrutya Sandhya’ (Folkdance Evening) has also been organized.

The Festival is being jointly organized by District Administration, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and South Central Zone Cultural Centre from October 7 to 10. The Koradi Mahotsav is witnessing thousands of devotees thronging to enjoy various cultural events as well to seek blessings of Shree Mahalakshmi Jagdamba Devi. Dozens of stalls have been set up by different organizations. Kids can also enjoy amusements including hot air balloon, kite flying competition, aero-modelling show, helicopter ride and para-motoring.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and actor Nishigandha Wad will be the chief guests on October 9, while Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and actor Vivek Oberoi will grace the event on October 10, last day of the festival. State Energy Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MP Jaykumar Rawal, State Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and Ramtek MP Krupal Tumane are other dignitaries to attend the festival on various days.
