Nagpur News : Jaripatka patrolling police team arrested a 30-year-old man possessing a pistol and a live cartridge on Monday night. Accused arrested has been identified as Devendra Rajput, a resident of Kushi Nagar in Jaripatka.

Rajput claimed that he takes contract of wall paintings. Monday evening, Police head constable Narendra Bais, Constables Lalit Pande and team under the guidance of senior police inspector Pundalik Bhatkar were patrolling at Shrivastav Nagar when they found Rajput loitering in suspicious manner.

On further interrogating, Rajput failed to give explanations. Later, police found a desi kata and a live round from him. Police has registered a case under arms act against him. He will produced in the court on Tuesday.
