Some forces in the Aam Aadmi Party are intentionally trying to defame him for the reasons better known to them but it will not be tolerated. They will soon get an answer for their folly, said Jammu Anand.

IMG_0521Nagpur News: The suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Jammu Anand has decided to initiate legal action against AAP’s Nagpur District Disciplinary Committee Member Girish Nandgaokar for deliberately leaking the news of his suspension with the sole intention of tarnishing his image in public.

Jammu Anand addressed press conference at Tilak Patrakar Bhawan on Wednesday (March 12) wherein he told media that his suspension from party’s primary membership and the show cause letter sent to him on March 2, 2014 is totally illogical. However, when he got the notice in which he was directed to give the explanation in 48 hours, he duly followed the instructions and gave his explanation within 48 hours through e-mail. The e-mail was sent to the Nagpur District Disciplinary Committee of AAP. It’s been 8 days and he is still waiting for the response from the other side. He also claimed that the news of his suspension from the party was brought into the limelight intentionally to tarnish his image. He raised a question over the working pattern of the party and said that how this totally internal affair of the party came out. There is no doubt that few people are doing this intentionally in order to defame his personality, Jammu Anand said.

Jammu Anand said that the members of Nagpur Unit of Aam Aadmi Party are inexperienced and don’t know the proper way in which they should talk. He said that the committee is leveling allegations against him that he is trying to tarnish the image of the party. “I am surprised and unable to understand what exactly I did which is not in favour of the party. I continued saying that filing complaint against Nitin Gadkari or raising issue of 250 colleges or expressing my views in media is not at all against party’s agenda, Jammu Anand said.

The suspended AAP leader claimed that on February 5 he lodged complaint against BJP leader Nitin Gadkari and the same day he received an SMS from Nagpur District Disciplinary Committee Member of AAP Girish Nandgaokar. He said that Nandgaokar sent him messages in not at all appropriate language and afterward also the language he used in the show cause notice and suspension letter was not appropriate. The language he used in the messages and letter clearly reflect the dirty attitude of Girish Nandgaokar.

Jammu Anand further said that he also brought this matter in front of the grievance committee but it’s been over 7 days and he didn’t get any response from them also. He claimed that the party is trying to victimize him. He said he did not join the party for his own personal benefits. He joined AAP unconditionally in order to weaken the Congress and BJP in Nagpur Lok Sabha elections. One thing has become clear. The rift within the Aam Admi Party has surfaced in whole world Anand said.
