ISTE-PTU sponsored ‘One week Faculty Development Programme on Cyber Crime & Security’

Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Tulsiramji Gaikwad- Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur has organized Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE) and Punjab Technical University(PTU) sponsored ‘One week Faculty Development Programme on Cyber Crime & Security’. The main objective of conducting faculty development programme is that, Cyberspace is woven into the fabric of our daily lives and the world is more interconnected today than ever before.

Many great expert shared their knowledge with faculties of various institute. The Programme was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Sumeet Gill, Head of Computer Science & Engineering department from Mahashri Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. Other resource person were Dr. K. Kathiravan Vice –Principal from Easwari Engineering College, Chennai, Dr. Manoj Chandak from Shri Ramdeobaba Engineering College, Nagpur, Dr. Umesh Deshpande from VNIT, Nagpur, Mr. Ketan Mohitkar from India Active Solutions pvt.ltd., Nagpur, IT Networkz pvt.ltd, Nagpur and legal advisor like Advocate Mahendra Limaye, were invited for exploring their knowledge on Cyber Crime & Security. They discussed in their speech how to create a safe, secure, and resilient cyber environment. Everyone has to play a role in cyber security. One day Industrial visit was taken to IT Networkz pvt.ltd, Nagpur.  Many of the faculties from various institute of from different parts of India participated in event.

Dr. Mohan Gaikwad, Secretary of Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions, Dr. Anjali Patil-Gaikwad, chairperson of Gaikwad-Patil Group, Prof. Sharad Patil, President of Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions, Col. Rahul Sharma, Director of Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions, Prof. Sandeep Gaikwad, Treasurer of Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions, Dr. G. K. Awari, Principal of TGPCET, Nagpur were prominently present on this event. Prof. Roshani Talmale, Coordinator of ISTE-PTU FDP has given the opening Remark and welcomes all the experts and participants.

All the faculties Prof. Vishal Tiwari, Co-coordinator of FDP, Prof. Jiwan Dehankar, Prof. Ankush Maind, Prof. Neha V. Mogre, Prof. Sulbha Parate, Prof. Rajesh Babu, Prof. G.Ananth Kumar and non-teaching staff of organizing department worked hard to make the programme successful. Prof. Neha V. Mogre proposed the vote of thanks.
