Misbehaving with a girl and her mother proved fatal to a youth who was beaten to death by the girl’s brother on Tuesday. Kalamna police, who registered the case, have arrested the killer.
Police told that the deceased Deepak Badri Bahel, aged 25, misbehaved with the sister of Manoj Bisrath Banjare (24), on Tuesday evening. Deepak then thrashed Manoj’s mother over some unknown issue. The humiliation, brought by Deepak enraged Manoj and he thrashed Deepak with a wooden rod near Panchasheel Flour Mill, Navin Nagar. Deepak was beaten so brutally that he died even before making it to the hospital.
Kalamna police have taken Manoj, a resident of Navin Nagar, in their custody after slapping murder charges under Section 302 of the IPC against him. Deepak’s body was sent to Government Medical College and Hospital and further investigations are under way in the case.
