IPL 8 Shocker KKR Likely To Drag BCCI To Court

People in this cricket-loving country were disappointed by India’s recent defeat in the World Cup 2015. They soon might get another shocker in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which is all set to start from April 7. IPL that has always been surrounded with several controversies may face another one, as the defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may pull out of this IPL 8.

According to sources, Shahrukh Khan’s team KKR threatened to pull out of the league if BCCI does not clear its star spinner Sunil Narine. The franchise also threatened to drag the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to court over the same issue. The West Indian player, who earlier was banned for his suspicious action during the 2014 Champions League and many other matches, recently received clearance from ICC after his bio-mechanical test in Loughborough.

Despite ICC’s clearance, BCCI insisted that the off-spinner has to undergo another round of testing at the Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai before participating in IPL 8. KKR is scheduled the play the first match against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Eden Garden in Kolkata on April 8th. At this point of time, KKR officials reportedly asserted that the player should not be forced to undergo another test when ICC has already given him clearance.
