Nagpur: NMC-OCW has planned to carry out an interconnection on Gorewada main supply line (450mmx450 mm dia) at Gittikhadan square on January 2, 2018.
The 24-hours interconnection work will charge newly laid Gittikhadan-Katol road pipeline and further isolate Gittikhadan and Seminary Hills command areas and it will start at 8 AM on Jan 2 to 8 AM on Jan 3, 2018.
Following these shutdown the areas to remain affected are:
DHARAMPETH ZONE Manavata Nagar, Gawli Pura, Panchsheel Nagar Azad Nagar, Macchi Market (Gittikhadan Square).
Meanwhile Nagpur Municipal Corporation has planned to do an interconnection opposite Achraj Towers on Jan 2. The work will require 12 hours from 9 am to 9pm.
Following these shutdown the areas to remain affected are :
Mangalwari Zone : Police Line Takli, Raj Nagar,, Vijay Nagar, Chhaoni, NADT Premises, Macosabagh, New Colony, Bairamji Town and Chiristian Colony.
NMC-OCW has appealed citizens to store sufficient water for their use as tanker supply will also not be possible & co-operate.
