The gang of 24 truck owners and drivers hailing from various states put a trader to a loss to the tune of Rs 25,59,572. The kingpin of the gang and other truckers have been booked but no arrests have been made so far in the crime.

The complainant Aminesh Ashok Agrawal (33), resident of Plot No. 950, Deshpande Layout, Nandanvan, runs a business firm M/s Nagalmal & Sons, situated at Kalamna Market, Nagpur. The firm imports Tur Dal from Mumbai for sale in the city. During the period from October 1 to 17, 2015, Aminesh Agrawal placed huge orders of Tur Dal the prices of which are now skyrocketing and assigned the accused truckers to transport the precious stuff to Nagpur. However, the kingpin of the gang Avdhoot Gyaneshwar Dahake, driver of truck MH-40/511, and other 23 truck owners and drivers belonging to various other states, in a well-planned conspiracy, pilfered the stocks of Tur Dal and sold directly to other parties instead of transporting it to Nagpur. With this embezzlement, the 24 truckers cheated the firm M/s Nagalmal & Sons, owned by Aminesh Agrawal, to the tune of Rs 25,59,572.

Kalamna PSI U A Rathod, acting on a complaint filed by Aminesh, has booked the accused truckers under Sections 407, 34 of IPC and launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
