Nagpur News : An inter-school karate tournament was recently organised as a joint endeavour of Vidarbha Karate Association and Maharashtra Shotokai Karate-Do Association Indian at Hilfort Public School, Ram Nagar.
As informed by a press release by VKA secretary Vijay Ghichare, participants from a total of 15 schools took part in the competition which also featured inter-dojo karate clashes.
Medalists gave credit of their success to families, trainers and friends, especially sensai Vijay Ghichare. Shubhangui Raut, Aditya Raut, Ashwin Medhram, Sanjay Solanki, Pooja Padole, Suchitra Prakriti, Tarun Bhasak, Rohan Petke, Nilesh Sarpuram and PratikDeshmukh contributed in the successful organisation of the karate tourney.
Gold medal winners include Abhijeet Khandekar, Sabmita Gavi, Revat Arora, Sarthak Shukla, Arkun Shukla, Sahil Mankar, Sohan Deshpande, Piyush Karwade, Daksh Banaeet, Anjal Chahande, Roshni Chavan, Gauri Thatte, Shubhangi Jeetwatode, Julie Guota, Pravin Maitre, Gayatri Raut, Shivamsinh Kushwaha, Vaishali Shekde, Sonika Ogle.
The teachers and well-wishers of the students have congratulated the karatekas.
