Nagpur: Director (Personnel) of Western Coalfields Limited Dr. Sanjay Kumar inaugurated three days Inter Area Table Tennis Tournament 2015-16 today at Coal Club, WCL, Civil Lines, Nagpur. All the ten Areas of WCL and Hqrs teams are participating in the tournament. While addressing on the occasion, Dr. Sanjay Kumar said that, games are organized to keep manpower healthy so that they can contribute with full zeal to achieve company’s objectives. Dr. Sanjay Kumar called upon new players to participate in all games.
He also advised veteran players to guide and develop new players for future. He said that participation in games is more important then winning. Games are the platform of exchanging the ideas and interact with each other. He emphasized to established the sports academy according to Coal India sports policy.
The welcome address was given by WCL General Manager (Welfare) S. S. Raza,. On this occasion, Coal India Ltd., General Manager (Admn.), V. G. Pratapan, WCL General Manager (Finance), P. V. Bhattad, General Manager (Civil) Amrendra Kumar, Chief Medical Services, Smt. Bela Bhattacharya, Dy. General Manager (IR) Iqbal Singh, Sr. Manager(Welfare) A.K. Singh, all HoDs, officers, employees and players were prominently present on the occasion.
