IndiGo Launches New Routes Connecting Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nagpur, and North Goa

Nagpur: IndiGo, India’s preferred carrier, has unveiled new routes offering direct flights between Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and North Goa, as well as between Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nagpur. Additionally, passengers can now travel from Nagpur to North Goa with a stopover in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. These flights will commence on July 2, 2024, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, aiming to enhance travel convenience and regional connectivity.

The introduction of these direct flights significantly reduces travel time. The journey from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to North Goa will now take just 2 hours, compared to the previous 14-hour trip. Similarly, the flight from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Nagpur will be shortened to 1.5 hours from nearly 5 hours. The new routes underscore IndiGo’s commitment to expanding its domestic network and providing seamless travel experiences.

It is also known for its Mughlai cuisine and serves as a burgeoning hub for trade and commerce.

Nagpur, also in Maharashtra, is celebrated as the ‘Orange City’ and is rich in cultural heritage. The city is home to notable landmarks such as the Deekshabhoomi, the largest stupa in Asia, and is famous for its vibrant street food and sweets. Nagpur is an important commercial and industrial center with a flourishing textile industry and a growing IT sector.
