Nagpur: Even as the rains progressed in Nagpur with the advent of monsoon across the region, the city has seen major spell of showers on Sunday night amid the frenzy of cricket fans cheering up for India’s win. However India could not make it to the victory but the heavy rains certainly brought cheers to the disappointed fans.
On the other end, the downpour led to the water logging in many areas exposing the lull preparedness of Nagpur Municipal Corporation to tackle the situation.
A total of 74 mm rainfall has been recorded till Monday morning in Nagpur.
Meanwhile, the commuters faced traffic woes in the chaos as the vehicles, especially two wheelers faced tough time wading through water jammed streets.
