
The Indian Air Force’s Cycling Expedition from K2K charting a remarkable journey from Kanyakumari to Kargil War Memorial (Drass) continues to inspire the nation promoting physical fitness, environmental consciousness and the spirit of adventure.
The cycle expedition was flagged off from HQ Southern Air Command on 02 February 2026 covering an arduous 4535 Km route, divided into three segments. The expedition is now in its second segment.
During the Hinganghat – Nagpur leg of 75 Km, 10 members of Maintenance Command Cycling Team led by Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, VSM, PhD, Air Officer Commanding- in -Chief , joined the expedition, reinforcing the values of resilience and indomitable spirit of air warriors.
The expedition stands as a beacon of inspiration, motivating the youth to join the Defence Forces, embrace fitness and discipline.
