Inaugration of Nagpur chapter of Air Force Association

Nagpur: Air Force Association (AFA) an official apex body by Ministry of Defence to represent welfare matters of Ex-Air Veterans & Widows was established in 1979. The Association has 19 branches functioning in geographical zone / State capital basis to provide a platform for fraternal interaction & welfare activities for members in respective zone. AFA aims to achieve integration of Air Veterans and empower them through the welfare activities across the country.

Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh Vishisht Seva Medal Aide de Camp, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force will inaugurate the office of Air Force Association Nagpur Chapter at 1100h on 30 Nov 15 at Air Force School Vayusena Nagar. Gp Capt SS Pathak (Retd), President Air Force Association Maharashtra will grace the occasion.

The Air Force Association aspires to provide 100% membership to the retiring Air Warriors. AFA nurtures future welfare plans to establish more Senior Citizen Homes and Placement Cells at AFA Branches.

The President AFA Maharashtra has requested and extended invitation to all Air Veterans of Nagpur area to attend the inaugural function at Air Force School, Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur on 30 Nov 15.
