IMA stages Marathi suspense drama “Shikar”

Nagpur: Indian Medical Association, Nagpur recently staged Marathi drama “Shikar” at IMA’s J. R. Shaw Auditorium. The play was a suspense thriller written by well known playwright Madhusudan Kalelkar.

The drama was directed by Ramesh Lakhmapure and produced by Dr. Ajay Kate, President and Dr Sarita Ugemuge, Secretary, IMA, Nagpur.

Dr. Prachi Mahajan (Chairman, Marathi Drama Committee), Dr. Anil Salpekar, Dr. Anuprita Adhao, Dr. Sushil Solanke, Dr. Anuradha Ridhorkar, Dr. Smita Desai, Dr. Ashish Thool, Dr. Ashish Pimpley, Dr. Sameer Jahagirdar, Dr. Sachin Sadawarte and Dr. Sarita Ugemuge showed their talents as actors in the thrilling drama.Prachi-1

The play was very much appreciated by all. The performance of all the actors was of par excellence. The drama kept the audience spellbound for two and half hours due to excellent suspense story and superb performance of the participating doctors.

The show was attended by many well known drama activists of yesteryear and also by the medical fraternity. They congratulated Dr. Prachi Mahajan Chairman Drama Committee and also President Dr. Ajay Kate, Secretary Dr. Sarita Ugemuge for their extraordinary efforts.Prachi-3
