Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital has come up with their in house magazine yet again. It took six long years for Mayo management to take the step up in publishing the next edition of their magazine. Students and teachers were very happy to release their college magazine. Chief Guests of the programme were Dr Nikhade, also an ex-student of IGGMC and Manikant Soni who is currently the chief editor Dainik Bhaskar.
Panellists for the function were few teachers of IGGMCs which included College Dean Dr M Gajhbiye, Dr Unnap, Dr P Dixit.
The dignitaries at the do kickstarted the function by lighting the traditional lamp.
Dr Dixit welcomed the chief guest Dr Nikhade by giving him the plant sapling who is also currently the secretary of IGGMC alumni association. Dr Gajhbiye the dean of IGGMC also welcomed Mr Soni by giving him the sapling.
College students also marked the occasion with grace as they turned up in formal attire. Some girls also chose ethnic attire while some were decked up with formal shirts and trousers. Boys chose to wear blazers and were perfectly carrying themselves with full confidence.
Soon the panellists untied the ribbon of the magazine and released it. Teachers appreciated the work done by the magazine committee saying that without them the magazine would not be a success. Magzine committee included,
