IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe transferred within 35 days

IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe has been transferred again within 35 days of his last posting. He has now been posted as the project director at the Maharashtra State AIDS Control society after the reshuffle of IAS officers by the General Administration Department (GAD).

Mundhe has been transferred more than 12 times in 13 years, this is his fourth transfer in the past 2 years.

In February this year, Mundhe took charge of the Nasik municipal corporation. With his work against illegal activities, Mundhe got tremendous public support.

Tukaram Mundhe, who belongs to the 2005 batch of IAS officers is known for his no-nonsense attitude and has often clashed with the public representatives in his previous postings.

The Maharashtra CM-led GAD has also transferred Rubal Prakher-Agarwal (2008 batch) from Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan trust at Shirdi to Additional Municipal Commissioner of Pune.

Sheetal Telhi-Ugale (2009) has also been transferred as the Chairman, Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Balaji Manjule, an Andhra Pradesh-cadre IAS officer of the 2009 batch, has been posted as the Commissioner for persons with disabilities.
