Husband-wife dupes small businessmen of Rs 81.65 lakh

Nagpur News: Nandanvan police booked a husband and wife for duping people to the tune of Rs 81,60,000 on the name of share trading business. Complainant Manoj Rambhau Pimplapure (49) filed a complaint with police that Bhavesh Dayaram Tank and his wife Sunita Tank, residents of 101, Mahashakti Apartment, Indiradevi Town, Wathoda Road, had opened a share trading office under the banner of Tanaz Logistics Sanstha. Small businessmen from the area invested in the share trading business to gain good profit.

On the name of share trading, the husband-wife pocketed lakhs of rupees from the businessmen. Though the couple was genuine in the beginning, but they started showing their true colours after some time. After gathering around Rs 81,60,000 from all the businessmen, the couple ran away.

On the complaint of Manoj, Nandanvan police booked the couple and registered an offence under Sections 406, 420, ad 34 of the IPC and launched a hunt to search for the couple.
