Nagpur: A woman has lodged a complaint against husband and brother-in-law for duping her to the tune of Rs 4.68 lakh.
According to police, the complainant Namrata Ayyer, resident of Rai Industry Apartment, had given Rs 4.68 lakh to her husband Prakash and brother-in-law Kartik Ayyer for depositing in bank and post office accounts. However, both the brothers did not deposit the amount but gave bogus deposit receipts to Namrata. When Namrata came to know of the fraud, she lodged a complaint against both the fraudster brothers.
Koradi cops have booked the accused Prakash and Kartik Ayyer and launched a probe into the matter.
