Nagpur: As the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education came out with class 12th results on Wednesday, Nagpur too got its fair share of meritorious students. Nagpur Today got up and close and personal with the city toppers and delved deeper into their success secrets. Here’s the low down,
Aditya Dokwal from Dr. Ambedkar College secured top position with 98%. Talking to Nagpur Today Aditya said, that “I have even scored same percentage in my 10thboards and aspire to pursue studies in medical field. I have appeared in NEET and AIIMS exam this year”. Aditya’s father who is a Civil Engineer is suffering from paralysis since last two years. But the problem did not stop Aditya from scoring highest marks from his college “I had a mindset that good time will come soon and everything will be back to normal again. My mother and my teachers constantly supported me during my academics” he added.
Radha Thengdi, who secured the top position in Arts stream with 96.92%, said , “I was regular in my classes and used to read books as in Arts we have to describe every point. One should study without any burden and enjoy studies. I want to pursue Physiology”.
Shreya Dandekar second topper in commerce stream from Dr. Ambdekar College scored 95.38%, said “I have played Basketball Nationals and had to adjust my study hours accordingly as I used to practice in basketball for 8 hours a day. Test series helped me the most in recording and improving my mistakes and in improving my writing skills. My Aim is to become IAS officer and will be giving UPSC exams”.
Rushikesh Adhaw and Shreya Dandekar
Rushikesh Adhaw a blind student secured 85.38% in arts field from Dr. Ambedkar College aspire to give UPSC exams. National Blind Association gave him an audio file of the syllabus which helped him in his studies. “I was accepting that my score would be 82-83% but secured 85%, I lived in Sant Chokha Meda hoste,l” he said. Rushikesh’s idol is Narendra Modi and inspires from his work.
