Nagpur : Commissioner of police has declared that every policeman in the city will have to wear a helmet. This news came as a surprise to many of the police stations as first helmets were ordered for the public. This decision was taken in the context of the recent accident that took place when police officer Vasant Pasene narrowly escaped a major mishap all thanks to his helmet that avoided this incident. On Saturday night around 12.15 police officer Vasant Pasene fell down with his bike near Police Commissioner office but escaped with minor injuries. In wake of this CP Dr Ankush Danvijay had ordered that every policeman will have to wear a helmet. Failing to do this will result in fine and punishment.
