Heat wave claims first victim as mercury touches 47 degrees

Nagpur: With the mercury rising to 47 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, the heat wave took its toll on a 65-year-old women, who according to doctor died due to a sun-stroke.

Wenesday was recorded as the hottest day this summer, surpassing the temperatures recorded at several locations of Nagpur.

According to information available, Prabhabai Ambadasji Kadve aged 65 year a resident of Hill Top nagpur collabse at her resident afer she came back at around 2 pm . She went to attend a marriage ceremony at Wanadongri.
