Nagpur: Indian Railways is known as an organisation providing jobs in massive numbers. Currently, recruitment is going on for posts in various categories. In view of this, Swayam Social Organisation and My Career Club have jointly organised a Mega Railway Recruitment Workshop to provide proper guidance and tips to prospective candidates on recruitment process. The workshop will be held at Siddheshwar Hall on Manewada Road on Sunday, March 17, between 10 am and 2 pm. In the free workshop, Station Master of South East Central Railway Nitin Deshbhratar and Railway Exam Guide A B Raut will provide valuable guidance.

In the mega recruitment drive, around 1.5 lakh posts are to be filled up in various departments of Indian Railways. The posts under Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) include Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Trains Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Station Master, and in paramedical staff include Staff Nurse, Dietician, and Lab Assistant.

The posts under Ministerial and Isolated Category include Stenographer, Junior Translator while in Group D category, posts of Assistant Locoshed, Assistant Pointsman, Track Maintenance Grade etc are to be filled up. The education qualification required for these posts is 10th, 12th pass, ITI, and graduation and post graduation in the related field. The Computer Based Online Test is going to be held n September and October.

The guidance and technique on how to pass this exam will be provided to candidates in the workshop by Railway Exam Guide A B Raut. Similarly, Station Master Nitin Deshbhratar will threw light on exam format, subjects, time planning, revision of questions, short tricks and other aspects.

The candidates will have an opportunity to interact with the guides and clear their doubts about recruitment process. All attending the workshop should bring a pen and notebook. The candidates participating in the workshop will be distributed with test question papers along with clarifications.
