Nagpur: Union government’s promises of increasing the employment have proved hollow. The government had launched National Career Service Portal claiming to give jobs. But the employment number received from this is really shocking. In the last two and a half years on this portal nearly 4 crore unemployeds had registered but out of this just 2.5 lakh got the jobs. According to Centre for Monitoring Indian economy the number of employees in the top companies in 2016-017 have reduced to 66,000 whereas in 2015-16 the number was 1,23,000. Under the start up India till now the loan given was just Rs 5.66 crores as the interest rate was 11.75 per cent and so it was difficult for the people to take loan. The govt was giving loans for small buisness.

In 2015 the National Career Service Portal was launched. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated and it was said that 90,000 companies and organisations giving jobs would be given place on the portal . The main aim of the govt was to make this portal a platform for the job seekers and givers. But the job seekers are not getting jobs through this portal. The main reason behind this is the new jobs are not being generated in market. According to the Labour Bureau in 8 sectors including manufacturing, Trnasport, Health and Education during 2016-17 there just 2.30 lakh jobs created whereas in the country every years 1.80 crore people join the work force. The main role in the jobs is of manufacturing sector. Even the positive results of Make in India are also not seen. As per International Labour Organisation compared to last year in 2017-18 the number of unemployeds are going increase. Last year the number of unemployeds were 1.77 crores and this year it is likely to go up to 1.78.
