Goons snatch gold chain worth Rs 60,000

Nagpur News : Two unidentified youths snatched gold chain worth Rs 60,000 from MIDC area on Monday. According to sources, Jyoti Pramod Chavan (32), a resident of Aditya Tower S4, 2nd Floor, Dattawadi, was coming on her activa (MH 31 CU 7564) in front of Maruti Seva Automobiles, Central MIDC Road, when two mobike-borne unidentified youths suddenly snatched her gold chain worth Rs 60,000. Before she could raise an alarm, the thieves fled away.

Jyoti lodged a complaint with MIDC police. Cops registered an offence of chain snatching against unidentified youths under Sections 392 and 34 of the IPC, informed PSI Gurav. Further investigations are on.
