    Goon murdered in front of his lover near Rambagh Road

    Nagpur News: A woman, in her twenties, was left shattered after a group of youths brutally stabbed her boyfriend, a hardcore criminal, in front of her on Rambagh Road on Wednesday afternoon. The helpless lover, had no choice and she rushed to nearby Imambada police station pleading for help. However, it was too late as her boyfriend, Vinod Kuthar, 22, had succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

    Kuthar was infamous by name ‘Bhanja’. Besides many other serious offences registered against him at many city police stations, Kuthar was recently booked under section 324 of ipc (voluntarily causing hurt) by Imambada police.

    Police told that Kuthar had attacked a rival gang member named Nikhil and his mother at Rambagh on Monday. Since then, he had gone missing for two days. Police has arrested him on Wednesdaymorning and was produced before the district and session court in the afternoon.

    Cops informed that after he was granted bail from the court, he had gone to meet his girlfriend in the premises of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). While the couple was chatting, a group of around 7 youths came on bike and attacked on him.

    Kuthar managed to escape and ran to Rambagh area for help but the assailants followed and rounded him up. He was repeatedly stabbed to death in front of a garment store in Rambagh area.

    Kuthar’s lover told police that she tried to save Kuthar but was frightened as the armed youths rounded the couple. She ran to police station asking for help. Cops rushed Kuthar to GMCH where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

    It was learnt that the bloody assault has left Kuthar’s girlfriend in shock. She fell unconscious for four times in the police station. Cops rushed her for preliminary treatment at GMCH.

    Police has registered a murder case against unidentified youths.
