Star Plus is all set to rule the hearts of people with its upcoming new venture ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’.

To promote the soon to come serial, Archana Archekar, one of the renowned actress visited the Orange City. ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’ is the official Indian adaptation of popular American sitcom Warner Bros’- “Everybody Loves Raymond.

The story revolves around the Saas Bahu Drama, where Sumit (Namit Das) always gets stuck between his Mom and Wife. Whiny and flippant, Sumit does not take many things seriously, making jokes in nearly every situation, no matter how troubling or problematic. He often avoids responsibilities around the house and with his kids, leaving this to his wife. The story is basically based on a Punjabi family that lives a normal life. The scenario is all based on the day to day incidents.

What new the audience will be able to see is a Man’s struggle who is trying to balance things between his mom and wife. So the title goes ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’.

Audience will be able to see the realistic character who can be imitated to the persons we have in our life.

Bharti Achrekar said that the story is going to be very interesting and more precisely even if people miss any of the episodes, they can easily catch-up with the story.

Talking exclusively with Nagpur Today, Bharti Achrekar said that it was not difficult for her to get into the role as they will be using Hindi language and not Punjabi,

NT: What was the thing that made you sign this serial?

Bharti Achrekar: Whenever I am offered a script, I see that I am able to relate it to our daily life incidents. And Sumit Sambhal Lega is the story where people will be able to relate it with them.

NT: What do you prefer first? Theater drama or Serials?

Bharti Achrekar:  I have been acting for theaters since a long time. Theater and serial both are equal for me.

NT: Do you experience the same drama in your real life?

Bharti Achrekar: Well, in this case, I am lucky, my son and daughter-in-law stay abroad. And I am a very chilled out person when it comes to the family drama.

So, put on the reminders on your mobile phones and get ready to experience the ultimate ‘Saas- Bahu’ drama. The serial will hit the television screens on August 31, 2015, from Monday to Saturday at 10pm only on STAR PLUS.
