Nagpur: Brigade of The Guards Regimental Centre, Kamptee is a premier training institution and highly decorated regiment of the Indian Army. In order to commemorate Green Revolution Drive, the Centre collected 500 plus saplings from forest department and a drive for tree plantation was organized on 14 Jun 2018.
Lead by Brigadier GS Reddy Sena Medal, Deputy General Officer Commanding Uttar Maharashtra & Gujarat Sub Area and Brigadier DV Singh, Commandant, Brigade of The Guards Regimental Centre, Kamptee, Officers, Junior Commission Officers, Other Ranks, Recruits and Families participated to make it a successful event. Planted trees/saplings included Lemon, Amaltas, Pipal, Immli, Neam and many more.
