Garba organizers permitted to play music till midnight

Nagpur: In a grand gesture, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has granted Garba organizers the permission to play music till midnight during the last two days of Navratri festival. The State Government’s permission will apply across Maharashtra.

Earlier also, the previous Governments used to grant permissions to this effect but this Government was seen cracking the whips on several contentious issues.

However, the Garba organizers were anticipating an announcement from the Chief Minister which was done on Tuesday.
