Nagpur: Dreaded gangster Santosh Ambekar, the alleged mastermind in Balya Gawande murder case, has been granted bail. Ambedkar, who has been absconding since Balya’s murder and later arrested by Kalamna police, was given bail by additional session judge AS Kazi.
Meanwhile, cops have filed chargesheet against other accused. District and session court has acquitted 8 other accused for the lack of evidence.
Meanwhile Ambekar’s counsel RK Tiwari filed bail application in the court. Tiwari told the court that the cops did not have any evidence against Ambekar and he has been made accused on the basis of suspicion.
The court agreed to defending side and allowed bail to Ambedkar on the 2 security bonds of Rs 50000.
