Gadkari, Mahayuti candidate for Nagpur takes rally in Central Nagpur, addresses meetings

Nagpur News: The Mahayuti (Grand Alliance) consisting of BJP, Shiv Sena, RPI (Athawale) and Raju Shetty-led Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana candidate for Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency Nitin Gadkari launched a scathing attack on Congress candidate for not developing Nagpur despite being elected Member of Parliament for consecutive 4 times. Gadkari addressed three meetings in Central Nagpur’s Timki, Siraspeth and Nawabpura on Tuesday.

The BJP leader appealed voters to shun the inactive and vote for development. “Congress and its candidate are experts in misleading people by spreading lies. Despite winning the Lok Sabha polls four times, Nagpur has not been developed in any way. But when elections come, then only comes out for votes. But this time, the people are in the mood of change as they are fed up with rising prices, corruption, scams,” Gadkari said.

The meetings were attended, apart from large number of people, by Mayor Anil Sole, MLA Vikas Kumbhare, Dayashankar Tiwari, Central Nagpur Division President Vilas Trivedi, Shiv Sena City Chief Suraj Goje, RPI (Athawale) Group’s Raju Bahadure, former Mayor Archana Dehankar, Sripad Risaldar, Rambhau Ambulkar, BJP City General Secretary Rajesh Bagdi, Pramod Pendke, Kalpak Bhanarkar, Rashmi Fadnavis, Corporators Bandu Raut, Pravin Bhisikar, Ramesh Punekar, Umatai Gathibandhe, and others.

Earlier in the morning, the BJP candidate Nitin Gadkari took out a rally in Central Nagpur for direct contact with the people. Gadkari was in an open jeep and the rally passed through Chitar Oli, Jagannath Swami Chowk, Chinteshwar Mandir Chowk, Lal School, Marwadi Chowk, Mirchi Bazaar, Nehru Statue, Raut Chowk, Lendi Talao, Kabrastan Chowk, Maskasath, Bangali Panja, Pili Marbat Chowk, Timki, Mominpura Football Ground, Hansapuri, Gandhibagh, Agrasen Chowk, Ganjakhet, Shahid Chowk, Bharat Mata Chowk and culminated at Hanuman Mandir.

The rally was participated by large number of youths, women, corporators and workers in their two-wheelers with flags of BJP, Shiv Sena, RPI (A) and were shouting slogans. Gadkari was welcomed at various places. The main attraction of the rally was physically weeklong Jaisingh Chauhan who was in his specially made scooter in front of Gadkari’s jeep and was in the forefront shouting slogans full throated.

Others who were in the open jeep include Deputy Mayor Jaitunnabi Ansari, Girish Vyas, City Shiv Sena Chief Suraj Goje, Youth Leader Dr Ashish Deshmukh, and many other leaders and workers in large number.
