Nagpur: The Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari launched 17 ‘e and Digital’ buses of Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Transport Department at Samvidhan Square for the convenience of Nagpurians.
While addressing the function,Gadkari stated that the e-buses would be helpful for the citizens and also help to control the pollution. Gadkari travelled in the bus from Samvidhan Square to GPO Square after the inauguration. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Radhakrishnan B, claimed that more than 230 pollution free buses would be added in the NMC’s public transport buses.
MLC Nago Ganar, BJP StatePresident Chandrasekhar Bawankule, MLCs Praveen Datke, Abhijeet Wanjari, Ex-minister and MLA Dr. NitinRaut, MLAs Krishna Khopde, Vikas Kumbhare,Mohan Mate, Vikas Thakre, Additional Commissioner Deepak Kumar Meena, Additional Commissioner Ram Joshi were present on the occasion.
