Gadkari lands in Nagpur, to file nomination on Monday

Nagpur: Union minister and Nagpur MP Nitin Gadkari has arrived in his home town and Lok Sabha constituency here amid huge applause and cheers by BJP workers. He was accorded grand welcome by BJP workers who raised slogans and voice of support for their leader who landed at city airport on Saturday morning.

Gadkari will be filing his nomination from Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency on March 25 for the upcoming general elections scheduled on April 11 here. Though his win seems to be inevitable, Congress has pitched Nana Patole as its prospective candidate against Gadkari.

Time and again, both Gadkari and Patole have been sharing warm vibes towards each other on public platforms. Recently, Patole, in his speech has exuded confidence of his victory with the ‘blessings’ of Gadkari while the latter expressed that his blessings were always with him.

Meanwhile, the BJP workers have intensified the poll campaign after Gadkari’s arrival in city.
