Irked over the series of civic problems marring their area, albeit the entire city, Youth Congress workers of North Zone staged protest in front of Municipal Corporation office at Ashinagar here on Tuesday. The enraged workers even locked up the office gate.
General Secretary of City Youth Congress Asad Khan and North City President Asif Sheikh, led the workers to the office, where they created ruckus.
One of the workers informed that they had submitted application to the zonal officer informing about various problems regarding poor condition of roads, cleanliness, dirt and street light.However, the problems remained unresolved prompting the workers to stage protest.
Pavitra Vasnik, Mangesh Satpute, Satish Pali, Sonu Khobragade, Pankaj Chavarkar, Nilesh Khobragade, Atish Sakhre, Imran Khan, Mohammad Majhar, Ankit Gajbhiye, Rinku Md. Shahid, Fahim Khan, Vasim Khan, Shibli Malik, Mukkmuddin Sadhan joined the protest.
