Nagpur News: Sitabuldi police have arrested 4 youths hailing from Punjab on the charges of molestation of a woman and hitting her relative severely with fisticuffs.
According to police, the 36-year old woman, along with her family and other relatives, had gone to watch a movie at Cinemax Eternity Mall. The woman and her relatives were standing in front of the Mall. At the same time, the four accused Murender Sardar Welsingh Bhatti (19), resident of Plot No. 1398, Megis Road, Sadar, Amritsar, Punjab, Harmansingh Tulbisingh (20), resident of New Pratap Nagar, Plot No. 8, Lane No. 16, Amritsar Punjab, Deepkamal Pralhadsingh Advas (20), resident of Plot No. 82, MG Emclave Chhata Road, Sadar, Amritsar, Punjab and Anilkumar Rameshkumar Vatika (22), resident of Plot No. 22, Lane No. 4, Sadar, Amritsar Punjab, presently staying in Neelam Lodge, Sitabuldi, Nagpur, accosted the woman and the accused Murender Sardar Welsingh Bhatti said to her “I love you” and another accused Harmansingh Tulbisingh caught hold of her hand and molested the woman. When one of the relatives tried to stop them the four accused thrashed him severely with fisticuffs leaving him with bloody face.
The woman immediately lodged a complaint with Sitabuldi Police Station against the four accused. The Sitabuldi PSI Karmalwar booked the accused under Sections 354, 353, 34 of the IPC and arrested them.
