Four person in police custody for videography of RBI, VIdhan Bhavan

In view of arrival of President of India Pranab Mukherjee and the alert of terror attack in Nagpur, Sadar police, on Friday, took four persons in custody for videography of Reserve Bank of India, Vidhan Bhavan and other high alert areas in city. The police took cognisance of this act ahead of President’s visit.

According to information, four youths were seen clicking pictures between Kasturchand Park and RBI while their other mate was indulged in gathering other information. A vigilant citizen, on suspicion, informed Sadar police who immediately swung into action and detained those youths from videographing.

Police recovered cell phone and camera from their possessions. On being informed, senior police officials reached the station for investigations. During investigations, accused were identified as Rajesh Kishan Jagdhane (33), Akash Suresh Shende (23), Manish Gokul Dubey (22), all residents of Gittikhadan Kutub Shah Nagar slums and another Kishor Sitaram Masram (22), a resident VIP Road.

The youths revealed that they were given a contract to gather information about security of RBI, Vidhan Bhavan and other sensitive areas. With this information, city police and intelligence agencies have been alarmed. Cops have started investigating about the person who gave the contract about gathering the details.
