Nagpur: Four motorcycle borne waylayers robbed a Dinshaw Ice Cream Parlour owner on Mondaynight. The four goons also bashed up the victim. No arrests have been made in the case.
The victim, Shashikant Madhavrao Gudne (50), resident of Bhande Plot, was returning home after closing his Dinshaw Ice Cream Parlour around 11.30 pm on Monday. Shashikant was riding on a motorcycle (Mh-31/EC 7117). When he reached near Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Hall in Nandanvan, the four unidentified motorcycle borne muggers waylaid him and snatched a cash of Rs 25,000 and two mobile handsets from him. The four goons even thrashed Shashikant severely.
Nandanvan Senior PSI Yevale, acting on a complaint filed by Shashikant, registered an offence against the four robbers under Sections 394, 34 of IPC and searching for them.
