Nagpur News: Pachpaoli police have booked four goons for demanding extortion money from a Beer Bar owner on Tuesday. The accused are Jentil Sardar, his brother Guddu and two unidentified persons.
The complainant Shriram Bhaiyalal Jaiswal (57), a resident of Ramdaspeth, Kachipura runs Sagar Beer Bar situated at Vaishali Nagar. The accused frequently barged into his bar and demanded extortion money from him but Shriram never reciprocated to their demands. On Tuesday night at around 10.30 pm, the accused again barged into his bar and demanded Rs 20,000 from Shriram who was present with his son.
Shriram again refused to give in to their demands. Meanwhile, the cook Siddarth Waghmare came there and the accused attacked him with a weapon and injured him. They also took away his Rs 2,000 cash and fled away from the scene.
On the complaint of Shriram, Pachpaoli police have registered an offence under Sections 386 and 34 of the IPC against the accused. A Search has been launched to grab the accused.
