Nagpur: The Social Security Wing of Nagpur Crime Branch on Wednesday raided a house in Shantinagar and busted a flesh trade racket being operated by a woman. The accused pimp has been arrested and two girls were rescued by the raiding cops.
The Crime Branch sleuths received secret information that the accused woman Ratna Dharmendra Bhaladhare (32), tenant in the house of Sadashiv Warghane in Ramsumer Baba Nagar, had turned her house as a brothel and was running prostitution racket. The accused Ratna lured needy girls and dragged them into flesh trade. Ratna would make available the girls to the prospective customers and also made available her house for those customers who brought girls from outside for sex.
The cops first confirmed the information and later sent a decoy customer to the accused Ratna’s house to negotiate a deal. As the accused woman took money and provided a girl to the decoy customer, he signalled the waiting cops who raided Ratna’s house and caught her red-handed. The raiding cops rescued two girls.
Shantinagar police registered a case against accused Ratna Bhaladhare and put her behind the bars. Further probe is underway.
