“Fire fighting training” completed by NSS Unit

Fire Fighting Training
Nagpur:
Considering the need of the hour to deal with fire hazards, NSS Unit of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Research organized a one day “Fire fighting training” in association with Fire Department, NMC, Nagpur.

The fire officials informed the students about the types of fire hazards and ways to control different types of fire in case of break out. They demonstrated how to use various types of water hoses to the students and even allowed them to have hands on experience of it.

The students were taught how to use a variety of fire extinguishers and when to use them. They trained the students for rescue operations in case of natural calamities. The program received a humongous response from the NSS unit members. The students were thankful for the tremendous efforts taken by the officials to educate them on this topic.

Fire Fighting Training
A team of 50 NSS volunteers of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Research, Nagpur along with NSS Program Officer Prof. Rohit Himte took active participation it the “Fire Fighting Training”. The training was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. A.V. Bapat. Prof. Rohit Himte, and his entire team worked hard for successful completion of the training and made it a great success.
