Thane: A fire broke out at a Union Bank of India branch in Bhiwandi in the wee hours of Tuesday. Two fire tenders were at the spot to douse the fire. No injuries were reported in the fire incident.
The entrance gate of the Union Bank of India branch was seen engulfed in tall flames. The cause of the fire was not clear. Bhiwandi is a city in the Thane district of Maharashtra. Further details were awaited.

On Monday, two incidents of fire were reported from Bhiwandi. A massive fire broke out at an oil godown in Gundavali. Another fire incident was reported from Purna village’s Chaudhary Compound where a godown was engulfed in flames. Details are awaited about the loss to life and property.
