Nagpur: A con father-son duo, both builders and developers, duped a man to the tune of Rs 20 lakh in dubious property deal. The accused have been booked by Nandanvan police.
The complainant Prakash Dnyaneshwar Randive (43), resident of Plot No. 5, Ishwar Nagar, told police that the accused Sunil Shankarrao Shinde and Shankarrao Shinde who run a firm named M/s Velvet Dreams Builders and Developers showed him a landed property at Dabha and later negotiated a sale agreement to the tune of Rs 20 lakh. However, the accused father-son duo in a dubious act sold the same property directly to another person. With this fraudulent deal, the accused breached the trust and sale agreement done with Prakash Randive.
Nandanvan PSI Sayam, based on a complaint filed by Randive, has booked the accused under Sections 420, 406, 34 of the IPC. Further probe is underway.
