Nagpur: A fake bomb call triggered panic in the Sitabuldi area of Nagpur on Friday. The Police Control Room reportedly received a call from Modi No. 3 Amrut Plaza regarding a bomb. However, a preliminary investigation revealed that the call was a hoax.

Acting swiftly, a team from the BDDS and the Sitabuldi Police rushed to the spot and found nothing suspicious. Meanwhile, the police are tracing the origin of the call.
It is pertinent to mention that such fake bomb calls have become a new normal to create sensation across the country. Recently, an alarming rise has been witnessed in such cases with no respite in sight.
