Failed in MSCIT course, teen ends life

Nagpur News : Failed in MISCIT course, an 18-year-old girl chooses to commit suicide. Nilima Karokar had taken the extreme step at her Saraipeth residence in Imambada on May 2 while she succumbed on Tuesday morning. Karokar had consumed poison while her parents were sleeping.

She leaves behind father, a driver, homemaker mother and two sisters.  She was undergoing treatment at a private hospital and was declared dead on Tuesday morning.

Police told that she has recently appeared for eleventh standard exam. Her parents informed cops that she was depressed since she has failed in MSCIT computer course and thus took the extreme step a her residence while her parents were sleeping.

She was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where she died on Tuesday. Her father Bilaje is a driver while her mother is a homemaker. Police informed that no suicide note was found. Imambada police has registered a case of an accidental death.
