Fact-finding panel to probe irregularities in SNDL

Nagpur:  There were various complaints against the operation of city’s electricity distribution franchise SNDL. Seeing increasing number of complaints and taking serious cognizance of it, the state government has formed two-member committee to inquire into the operations of the franchise. This information was given by state power minister Chandrashekher Bawankule.

Since the inception of the company, there have been various complaints made to the government about irregularities in SNDL. Right from normal consumer to political parties and social organisations have been raising their voice against SNDL from time to time.

Looking at these, the government has initiated the inquiry through the fact-finding committee. Independent director, MSEB Holding Company, Rajendra Kumar Goenka will head the committee and Advocate Gauri Chandrayan will be the other member.

Bawankule further informed that the committee will consider the all the complaints against SNDL and present its report in two months.
