Nagpur: A Facebook “friend” exploited his ‘girlfriend’ sexually for over three years on the pretext of marriage promise. The accused rapist has been booked.
According to the 22-year old complainant, resident of Ambazari area, the accused Rajat Ganesh Bade (24) of Ramnagar, Marartoli, befriended her through Facebook and Whatsapp. As the “love blossomed” the accused promised to marry her. With the ‘promising’ words, the accused Rajat Bade took her to different places and raped her. When the victimised woman insisted on marriage, the accused flatly refused to do so.
Ambazari Woman PSI Sheikh booked the accused Rajat Bade under Section 376(1) of the IPC and probing the matter further.
