Police claimed to have cracked the mystery behind suicide of a police commando who shot himself dead on September 29. The cops have booked wife of the deceased and their neighbour.

Earlier, it was assumed that Sonu was stressed over some personal tiff with his wife. His colleagues stated that they had observed Sonu suffering from mental stress for past few days. However, he never shared the details with his friends or colleagues. Sonu’s brother Vijay Parkhe informed the cops that Sonu was indeed stressed for the past few days.

He informed that Sonu’s wife Bhavna Kale was having an extra marital affair with her neighbour Pradeep Mohe. Sonu realised the truth and warned Bhavna many times. However, she ignored the warnings and continued to meet Pradeep. This caused mental stress and depression to Sonu and instigated him to end his life. Sonu ended his life by shooting himself on September 29.
Police commando Sonu Shivdas Parkhe (28), a resident of Lal Building, Police Line Takli, Police Headquarters had committed suicide on September 29 while he was on duty. Sonu reached for his guard duty at Sadar police station on the unfortunate day and shot himself with an SLR rifle. The sudden turn of events got the policemen in a state of panic. Cops registered a case of accidental death and immediately started their investigations.
