Nagpur: Confusing situation galore among HSC examinees, parents and teachers as well. Already smarting under the ever changing valuation system, the State Higher and Secondary Education Board has created a tormenting situation.

At present, oral and practical exams for March 2016 HSC Board exam are going on in almost all junior colleges. However, the students, parents and teachers were left red-faced when the Board appointed internal and external invigilators in connection with Environment subject. Last year, the shoddy affairs of State Higher and Secondary Education Board saw hundreds of students being declared failed despite being passed. Continuing with the same affairs, the Board has decided to conduct the practical exams under the supervision of external invigilators this year too. No workshop for proper guidance to teachers was ever held. With no guidance, confusion galore among teachers, stated the State Vice President of Shikshak Bharti Sanghatana Rajendra Zade.

The Divisional Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department said that the State Board did not give permission for the workshop on Environment subject due to paucity of funds. Instead of workshop, the Mumbai Divisional Board has sent letters and pro forma to all junior colleges.
